WHAT’S NEW: HEWA 3800B with a dipping belt discharge – the perfect connection between two washing machines

Easy cleaning and an optimal washing process: With the new HEWA 3800B with a dipping belt transfer, KRONEN is launching an innovative solution that efficiently connects two washing machines for a continuous, thorough and hygienic washing process. 

The dipping belt design enables both washing machines to have a low infeed height, which in turn makes them much easier to access for cleaning and maintenance. The product is gently transferred from the first to the second washing process, in which it is directly immersed, thus guaranteeing thorough cleaning of delicate products such as salad leaves, herbs, or leafy vegetables. 

One of the main focuses in the development of this new solution was ensuring that the dipping belt had an open and easy-to-clean design. As a result, the dipping part of the conveyor belt can be easily flipped up to provide easy access to the wash tank of the second machine. This also automatically detensions the belt for efficient cleaning. 

An integrated water knife for special products 

The dipping belt features an integrated water knife that is connected to the pipework of the second washing machine. This water knife uses water jets to remove any product residue that remains on the belt after dipping, especially in the case of products that are difficult to handle.  

The water knife is only designed to be used as an additional, optional backup based on customer requirements. 

A hygienic design for maximum cleanliness 

The dipping belt can be easily detensioned and removed when needed. The entire conveyor features an open design that fulfills the strictest hygienic design requirements – for maximum safety and easy cleaning during daily operation.
