Customer Service Employee for Machines in the Food Industry

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Working as a contact for representatives: You will be the main contact for our international representatives in the field of after-sales. You will support them in all issues and matters concerning our machines and services. This will involve answering written and telephone inquiries and providing technical information. 
  • Coordination and communication: You will be responsible for effective coordination between our internal departments and representatives. This includes monitoring order processing, ensuring punctual delivery of (spare parts) orders and communicating relevant information to the representatives and customers.
  • Technical support: You will provide technical support for our representatives and customers by supporting them in matters concerning machine maintenance, repairs and operation. You will work in close cooperation with our team of technicians and design engineers to guarantee fast and effective solutions to problems. 
  • Training: You will help organize and run training sessions for our representatives and customers to ensure that they have the knowledge required to successfully use and service our machines. 

Your qualifications

  • Technical training completed or an equivalent qualification in a relevant area obtained
  • Experience in customer service or technical support, ideally in the field of mechanical engineering or the food industry
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to clearly pass on complex technical information
  • A strong service orientation and distinct understanding of the needs of representatives and customers
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to work on several complex tasks at the same time
  • Willingness to go on occasional trips within Germany and abroad
  • Good English skills
  • SAP skills are advantageous
